Boucheron seeks an Assistant Boutique Manager in Nagoya to lead boutique operations, coach staff and drive clienteling and sales performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in accordance with company strategy and drive boutique actions to achieve sales and performance targets.
  • Coach, mentor and develop boutique team members to deliver exemplary client service and to meet individual and store objectives.
  • Manage daily boutique operations efficiently, including execution of company policies, shift scheduling and maintaining boutique environment (maintenance, security).
  • Support the creation and implementation of boutique action plans aligned with corporate strategies and assist in their execution.
  • Analyse KPIs and dashboards to monitor sales performance, product trends and to inform operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with store manager and staff on clienteling and loyalty-building activities for VIC and high-potential customers; handle customer complaints in the manager's absence.
  • Monitor each team member’s customer pipeline and sales opportunities, providing hands-on support and coaching to drive conversions.
  • Continuously seek operational efficiencies and propose improvements to optimise boutique performance.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or assistant-manager role within luxury retail, preferably in fine jewellery or watches.
  • Proven track record of meeting boutique and individual sales targets through effective clienteling and coaching.
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs and ability to interpret sales dashboards to drive actions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate and align a diverse team around shared objectives.
  • Ability to handle customer complaints professionally and to represent the brand as an exemplary ambassador.

Experience
