Bottega Veneta Sustainability Performance & Engagement Manager role in Milan, Italy. Lead ESG reporting, regulatory compliance, and sustainability engagement initiatives across the luxury fashion house.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead sustainability reporting and ESG disclosure activities, ensuring data accuracy, reporting integrity, and compliance with Kering and regulatory requirements
  • Support Digital Product Passport readiness and related data governance initiatives, driving continuous improvement of sustainability data quality and controls
  • Monitor emerging sustainability regulations, assess business impact, and translate regulatory requirements into governance frameworks and operational processes
  • Lead sustainability engagement, awareness, and change management initiatives across the organization, designing and delivering training programs on regulations, responsible sourcing, traceability, and circularity
  • Manage internal sustainability communications, awareness campaigns, and employee engagement activities to promote a strong sustainability culture
  • Lead sustainability training and capability-building initiatives for retail teams worldwide, developing educational materials and resources for client-facing engagement
  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies to embed sustainability into fashion shows and events, measuring and reporting environmental impacts including greenhouse gas emissions
  • Represent the Sustainability team in cross-functional forums, building partnerships and influencing key stakeholders across the organization

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, environmental management, consulting, or related fields
  • Strong expertise in sustainability reporting, ESG disclosures, and sustainability regulations
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional sustainability initiatives in international environments
  • Ability to engage comfortably with senior leadership and represent sustainability topics at executive level
  • Fluency in English; Italian proficiency preferred

University degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, ESG Management, or a related discipline. Relevant sustainability certifications (e.g., GRI, SASB, B-Corp) are advantageous.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is EUR 48,000 per annum.
