Bottega Veneta in Shanghai seeks a Store Manager to lead boutique sales, team development and clienteling for the China team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all store operations to achieve and exceed sales targets while safeguarding the brand image and service standards.
- Develop and execute commercial plans to maximise sales by category and expand the client base through proactive clienteling and CRM use.
- Recruit, coach, evaluate and retain store staff; establish clear performance objectives and deliver regular coaching to drive results.
- Manage stock accuracy and replenishment processes to ensure availability and optimal inventory mix.
- Analyse sales and KPI data, interpret corporate analyses and translate insights into local action plans.
- Conduct and/or coordinate mystery visits and competitive benchmarking; train assistant store managers on execution and follow-up.
- Foster team collaboration and a client-focused culture, ensuring consistent delivery of Bottega Veneta customer experience standards.
- Ensure rigorous use of the client book and CRM to maximise customer retention and lifetime value.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of store management experience, including at least three years in luxury retail.
- University degree or equivalent tertiary education.
- Proven ability to coach and develop teams, with strong people management and motivational skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and time management.
- Demonstrable competency in sales analysis and translating data into actionable initiatives.
- Proficiency in English and working knowledge of office software.

Experience
At least 5 years of progressive retail management experience with a minimum of 3 years in the luxury sector, including responsibility for meeting commercial targets, staff development and inventory control.
