Bottega Veneta Store Manager in Milano – Lead luxury retail operations at La Rinascente with sales targets, team management, and VIP clienteling responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive sales achievement and clienteling targets through strategic action plans, identifying VIC and client development opportunities
- Maximize business potential by monitoring KPIs, sell-through rates, and product performance across all departments
- Monitor product trends and inventory levels, providing commercial proposals and participating in buying strategy
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards and luxury store environment across the entire boutique
- Lead the sales team in cross-selling and advanced selling techniques to maximize transaction value and client satisfaction
- Cultivate and manage relationships with VIP and top-tier clients through personalized service and elevated hospitality
- Develop retention plans and initiatives for high-value clientele, fostering long-lasting brand connections
- Ensure the team delivers exceptional client experience aligned with company standards and brand heritage
- Manage client feedback and concerns, addressing issues with seamless resolution to enhance satisfaction
- Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing, client-centric sales team in partnership with HR
- Create an inclusive, engaging work environment that values individual uniqueness and fosters team belonging
- Coach and motivate team members, providing regular feedback on business results and service delivery
- Ensure full compliance with company procedures, inventory controls, and Health & Safety requirements

- Maintain impeccable store appearance, displays, and employee presentation standards in line with luxury brand positioning
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of previous experience in a similar Store Manager or equivalent retail leadership role within fashion and luxury retail contexts
- Deep understanding of client development, high-end customer service, and luxury brand positioning
- Demonstrated brand ambassador mindset embodying the sophistication and heritage of luxury houses
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with proven competence in budget management and financial oversight
- Proven ability to manage, inspire, coach, and motivate retail teams to exceed performance targets
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities with strong results orientation
- Strong communication skills, engaging demeanor, positive attitude, and collaborative team-player mentality
- Fluency in English and Italian (mandatory); proficiency in additional languages considered an advantage
