Bottega Veneta seeks an experienced Store Manager for its Johor Bahru location. Lead sales, team development, and operations in this luxury retail leadership role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set individual sales targets for team members and achieve financial objectives through actionable plans adapted to specific situations
- Monitor loss prevention and analyze sales reports and store metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Build and maintain business relationships with VIP clients, hotels, restaurants, landlords, and personal shoppers
- Coach and mentor floor staff during events and daily store activities to maximize business opportunities and team productivity
- Ensure cross-selling and additional selling techniques are mastered across the team
- Provide qualitative customer feedback on collection performance to the Retail Director
- Motivate and train employees to sell across all product categories
- Conduct regular store morning meetings and systematic staff meetings to share experiences and gather improvement ideas
- Develop staff professional and product knowledge through relevant training, updates, and personal network development
- Identify team training needs and establish comprehensive training and development plans
- Cascade company vision, smart goals, and strategic announcements clearly to all staff
- Engage and empower the team by understanding their needs and brainstorming improvement ideas
- Support succession planning through identification of individuals with high potential
- Create a positive store environment to ensure stable retention and handle employee issues appropriately and timely
- Conduct regular performance reviews through monthly touch bases and year-end appraisals
- Organize work schedules to ensure appropriate staffing coverage aligned with daily traffic patterns
- Make CRM-based proposals in collaboration with the Assistant Store Manager and monitor client data quality
- Coach team adherence to brand visual standards and ensure store interior and exterior maintenance to company standards
- Manage store housekeeping and ensure all operational issues, administrative duties, and legal requirements are resolved
- Ensure store compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements
- Monitor stock organization and merchandise flow, optimizing store-to-store transfer requests
- Ensure merchandise availability and services, maintaining inventory levels
- Implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales performance
- Monitor competitive landscape through corporate analysis and mystery visits
- Develop and maintain relationships with top and key customers
- Execute and coach clienteling actions and after-sales service initiatives
- Manage customer issues and complaints effectively
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to analyze sales data and manage budgets
- Proficiency with retail software and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role in the luxury or high-end retail sector preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
