Bottega Veneta seeks a Store Manager in Chicago (Oak Street) to lead sales, operations and team development. Salary $120,000–$130,000 + discretionary bonus.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring compliance with brand standards and operational procedures (opening/closing, register and back-office management).
- Drive store sales and departmental performance to achieve and exceed monthly and annual targets, while supporting individual sales goals.
- Recruit, hire and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for sales and boutique positions.
- Coach, mentor and develop retail associates through structured training, new-hire induction and ongoing performance management to elevate competencies and sales productivity.
- Manage client relationships and clienteling practices, ensure integrity and quality of data in client books and work with sales staff to define action plans.
- Foster an inclusive workplace where associates are treated with dignity and respect while upholding the brand’s service values.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of retail experience in a managerial role, preferably within luxury fashion or premium retail.
- Proven ability to drive sales performance and develop talent through coaching and performance management.
- Strong organisational awareness with flexibility to prioritize and manage multiple operational responsibilities.
- Deep product knowledge and alignment with the brand’s philosophy and service standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience
At least 5 years of progressive retail experience in supervisory or managerial roles, ideally in luxury or premium fashion environments with demonstrated success in sales leadership and team development.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field preferred.
