Bottega Veneta seeks a Store Director for its Madison Avenue flagship in New York. Base salary $170,000–$185,000.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the Madison Avenue flagship store’s day-to-day operations to protect the brand image and ensure exemplary customer service.
- Own commercial performance: set and drive achievement of store and individual sales targets, analysing results and implementing corrective action plans.
- Develop and coach the sales team to elevate clienteling capabilities, individual productivity and long-term career growth.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training to maintain a high-performing talent pipeline and store staffing readiness.
- Ensure the integrity and quality of client book data and leverage CRM insights to propose and execute targeted business actions.
- Execute operational procedures including store opening/closing, cash and register management, inventory controls and back-office governance.
- Uphold and enforce Bottega Veneta operational standards, policies and brand service values, ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of progressive retail experience with a minimum of 8 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of meeting ambitious sales targets and managing P&L drivers in a luxury retail environment.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor and develop sales talent with strong coaching and performance-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to represent the brand at a senior level.
- Strong organizational awareness, adaptability and a deep understanding of product, brand philosophy and luxury service standards.

Minimum of 8–10 years of retail experience in managerial roles, with demonstrated success driving sales and developing teams in a luxury environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, retail management or a related field preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 170,000 to USD 185,000 per annum.
