Role & Responsibilities

• Receive store deliveries, unload goods, scan barcodes, verify quantities and condition, check shipping documents, and enter receipts in JDA and Automatic Receiving; resolve discrepancies and notify the relevant personnel.
• Store and arrange inventory securely and efficiently so sales staff can access and identify each item quickly.
• Plan warehouse space according to incoming deliveries.
• Create a sample for each incoming product, identify it, and return it to its designated storage location.
• Clear and dispose of packaging waste.
• Complete all stock movements within the required timeframes, including preparing items for alterations, dyeing and finishing, and shipment to remote customers.
• Arrange inter-store transfers and supplier returns, preparing documents such as CITES documentation and pro forma invoices.
• Coordinate transfers between stores using the transfer lists provided by the Buying Department; prepare items for dispatch and verify their condition and reference numbers.
• Carry out annual, semi-annual and ad hoc stocktakes as instructed by the Inventory Management Department and supervisor; reconcile physical stock against system records, report results to the Store Manager, and help reduce stock loss.
• Replace product price tags following price changes.
• Review daily sales and inventory reports in JDA, replenish the sales floor, and submit replenishment requests to the Merchandising Department.
• Coordinate orders for packaging supplies with Operations and, as directed by the supervisor, order stationery, toner, beverages and other supplies from external vendors.
• Arrange pre-sale and after-sales product repairs in accordance with company policy, using available tools and resources.
• Work with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to manage product loans and consignment, clearly identifying items that remain in store inventory but are temporarily unavailable for sale.
• Train sales staff to use the JDA operating system to look up item reference numbers and identify stock in the store.
