Bottega Veneta Stock Associate position in New York Flagship store. $23–$25 hourly, full-time role reporting to Operations Manager.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Verify accuracy of merchandise and supply deliveries by confirming all quantities shipped/received match corresponding documentation for all incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Provide rapid and accurate stock checks to management and sales staff, delivering merchandise to the sales floor upon request
  • Organize and maintain stockroom standards by categorizing merchandise by style, color, and size according to Store Management and Operations Department directives
  • Execute routine cycle counts and promptly report any identified inventory discrepancies to management
  • Manage the shipping area to ensure all outgoing merchandise is properly packaged, logged, and compliant with all policies and procedures
  • Optimize available stock space to facilitate easy merchandise access for all employees and maximize store operational efficiency
  • Communicate promptly with management and sales teams regarding new arrivals, product replenishment, and client returns
  • Maintain adequate stock levels of packaging supplies throughout the boutique
  • Train new hires on all policies and procedures related to shipping and receiving operations
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by Store Management

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in a complex retail stockroom environment
  • Prior experience with international or domestic freight companies such as FedEx or UPS preferred
  • Strong ability to execute multiple tasks and manage competing priorities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication
  • Self-motivated, professional, and collaborative team player
  • High degree of accountability and reliability with receptiveness to constructive feedback
  • Ability to work with mobility, standing for extended periods
  • Physical capability to climb ladders and regularly lift packages weighing 20 lbs. or more
  • Basic computer skills with Excel experience preferred
