Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, verify and document incoming and outgoing merchandise, ensuring quantities match shipping documentation.
- Organize and maintain stockroom by style, color and size to optimise accessibility and store efficiency.
- Perform routine cycle counts; investigate and report inventory discrepancies to Store Management.
- Support sales team with rapid, accurate stock checks and timely delivery of product to the sales floor.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments in accordance with company policies and maintain an orderly shipping area.
- Manage packaging supply levels and re-stock as required.
- Train new hires on shipping, receiving and stockroom procedures and assist with ad-hoc projects assigned by Store Management.
- Maintain clear communication with management regarding new arrivals, replenishment and client returns.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years' experience preferred in a high-volume, complex retail stockroom; familiarity with international/domestic freight carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS) a plus.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional and collaborative team player.
- Basic computer proficiency; Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, be mobile for extended periods, climb a ladder and regularly lift parcels up to 20 lbs.
- High level of accountability and receptiveness to feedback.

Preferably 1–2 years working in a busy retail stockroom or warehouse environment; previous exposure to international/domestic freight operations is advantageous.
Education
