Role & Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of merchandise and supply deliveries, ensuring all quantities shipped and received match corresponding documentation for all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintain stock room organization by arranging merchandise according to style, color, size, or as directed by Store Management and the Operations Department
• Execute routine cycle counts and communicate any identified inventory discrepancies to management
• Ensure the shipping area remains organized with all outgoing merchandise properly packaged and logged in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Optimize available stock space to facilitate easy merchandise access by all employees and maximize store operational efficiency
• Provide rapid stock checks and timely merchandise delivery to the sales floor upon request from management and sales staff
• Communicate new arrivals, product replenishment needs, and client returns to management and the sales team
• Replenish packaging supply levels within the boutique as needed
• Train new hires on shipping, receiving, and inventory management policies and procedures
• Complete ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by Store Management

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a complex retail stock room environment
• Previous experience working with international or domestic freight companies such as FedEx or UPS (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to execute multiple tasks with competing priorities
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• High level of accountability, reliability, and openness to feedback
• Basic computer literacy with Excel proficiency preferred
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and regularly lift packages up to 20 lbs.

Experience

1–2 years of experience in a complex retail stock room environment; previous experience with international or domestic freight companies (FedEx, UPS) is advantageous.
