Bottega Veneta seeks Stock Associate in Geneva. Manage warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations in luxury retail boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage goods receipts, including package unloading, barcode scanning, and verification of quantity, quality, and transport documentation using JDA/SAP and Automatic Receiving systems
- Maintain warehouse organization and storage efficiency, ensuring products are readily accessible and immediately identifiable
- Monitor warehouse space and capacity according to goods reception volumes
- Sample, identify, and place articles into stock room upon receipt
- Handle packaging disposal and manage warehouse cleanliness
- Coordinate inbound and outbound product movements, including preparation for tailoring, dyeing departments, and long-distance clients within specified timeframes
- Organize inter-store transfers and return-to-vendor procedures, preparing requisite documentation including CITES forms and proforma invoices
- Manage general transfers and exchange of goods between stores as directed by the Buying office, verifying product condition and codes before dispatch
- Execute warehouse inventory procedures (annual, semi-annual, and random cycles) in collaboration with the Inventory Control office and Store Manager, tracking discrepancies and contributing to loss reduction initiatives
- Prepare merchandise for price changes and re-tagging
- Maintain comprehensive CITES documentation and filing for protected items
- Conduct daily system reviews using JDA/SAP reports to monitor stock levels, manage sales floor replenishment, and submit requests to the Merchandising office
- Interface with Operations to order packaging and coordinate with external suppliers for materials and consumables
- Manage product repair procedures, both pre- and post-sale, following established protocols
- Oversee consignment procedures in collaboration with Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
- Train sales associates on JDA/SAP system navigation and inventory reference procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar warehouse, stock management, or retail operations role
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
- Excellent organizational and strategic thinking capabilities
- High attention to detail and ability to work methodically and systematically
- Strong analytical and numerical aptitude
- Proficient with Excel and logistics management systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Experience
Proven experience in a similar warehouse, stock management, or retail operations role, ideally within a luxury or fashion retail environment.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; further training in warehouse management, logistics, or retail operations is advantageous.
