Bottega Veneta SLG Product Developer in Montebello Vicentino—join our leather goods development team on a fixed-term contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Style team to coordinate activities and information across departments involved in small leather goods product development, supporting prototype and sampling phases for regular collections and special projects
- Monitor product development progress by participating in sampling verification meetings and ensuring compliance with required standards
- Manage product code entry into systems and prepare collection documentation including product sheets, collection plans, measurements, color palettes, and photographic materials
- Produce English-language content and materials for training manuals and presentations
- Create graphic and photographic presentations of products in development for internal archiving, legal registrations, and end-of-collection presentations
- Organize materials and products for collection development meetings (internal and with Creative Direction), including managing shipments
- Maintain archiving and cataloguing of documents and samples, supporting historical archive inventory activities
- Contribute to trend research and analysis activities through industry trade shows, retail store visits, and competitor benchmarking
Qualifications
- Degree in fashion design, architecture, or equivalent qualification with focus on product development
- 1–3 years of experience in leather goods and accessories sector
- Excellent written and spoken English proficiency
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Preferred knowledge of Stealth and PLM enterprise management systems
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and team-oriented attitude
- Precision, flexibility, and strong communication abilities
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
