Bottega Veneta Shoes Collection Merchandising Intern, Milan – 6-month curricular internship supporting product strategy and showroom preparation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in collection plan elaboration to identify new product opportunities and functions
- Conduct competitor benchmarking analysis including product typology, mix, and price mapping
- Support Product Development Team in monitoring collection progress and timelines
- Perform weekly and monthly sell-out analysis and prepare ad hoc sales reporting
- Create documentation for seasonal marketing activities and product launch events
- Manage collection samples and maintain organized product assortment
- Contribute to daily and ad hoc merchandising department activities
- Support the elaboration of line sheets, collection files, and look lists during selling campaign preparation
- Manage sample assortment and coordinate catalogue opening requests with product development teams
- Develop product descriptions and conduct hierarchy checks in collaboration with cross-functional departments
- Support collection training development to communicate collection inspirations and strategy
- Prepare end-of-campaign sell-in analysis
Qualifications
- Completed studies in Business Management, Fashion & Luxury Brand Management, or equivalent discipline
- Eligible for a 6-month curricular internship
- Fluent in English; Italian language is advantageous
- Prior experience in similar roles or internships is valued
- In-store retail experience is valued
- Aesthetic sensibility combined with strong analytical mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office suite

Optional prior experience of 6 months or more in similar merchandising or product planning roles (including internships). In-store retail experience is a plus.
Education
Successful completion of studies in Business Management, Fashion & Luxury Brand Management, or equivalent field.
