Bottega Veneta seeks Senior Leathergoods Pattern Making Specialist in Montebello Vicentino, Italy. Lead technical pattern development and industrialization for luxury leather goods.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Modelleria Manager, style team, and product office to gather project specifications and technical requirements
- Develop and refine technical patterns from style drawings and design briefs, ensuring industrial replicability
- Input and monitor all technical data necessary for prototype and sample development, updating information throughout development phases
- Liaise with prototyping teams to identify and resolve technical issues, maintaining alignment with aesthetic and production standards
- Share technical information with Modelleria colleagues and participate in technical review meetings for production optimization
- Execute final pattern engineering and model refinement to prepare products for production launch
Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience in leathergoods manufacturing
- Technical training in pattern making or fashion technology (specialization school or master's degree)
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Teseo
- Deep knowledge of leathergoods development processes, leather treatments, and metal accessories
- Competency with Office Suite (especially Excel) and enterprise resource planning systems
- Strong planning and organizational abilities
- Team collaboration mindset and problem-solving orientation

Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience in leathergoods manufacturing, with proven expertise in pattern making and product development within artisanal or industrial leather goods production.
Education
