Bottega Veneta Sales Associate position in Costa Mesa, California. Luxury retail role offering $23–$25/hr plus commission.
Role & Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and KPIs through client outreach, new client development via appointments and consignments, and communication of collection deliveries and in-store events
- Apply the Bottega Veneta Client Journey and advanced selling techniques including cross-selling, multiple selling, and upselling to maximize transaction value and close sales
- Establish and nurture enduring client relationships by routinely updating and maintaining accurate client profile records
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge—both technical and inspirational—across all collections through Company-provided training resources
- Support store management with opening and closing procedures, including cycle counts and light cleaning duties, as well as visual standards maintenance such as merchandise presentation, signage, and lighting
- Actively seek and incorporate feedback from colleagues and management to support continuous professional development
- Uphold all Company policies and procedures while fostering an environment of fairness, dignity, and respect for all associates
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of previous retail sales experience in a customer service–related field, preferably in a luxury environment
- Proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals and KPIs
- Capacity to build and maintain a loyal client following
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Genuine interest in fashion with active awareness of industry trends and news
- Ability to work on the sales floor for extended periods and climb ladders regularly
- Capability to lift packages weighing 5–8 lbs. on a regular basis
- Availability for closing shifts a minimum of 3 times per week, minimum of 3 Saturdays per month and 2 Sundays per month, plus annual inventory and the entire holiday season
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of retail sales experience in a customer service environment, ideally within the luxury sector. Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and building client loyalty.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in sales, retail management, or luxury brand training are valued.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 23 to USD 25 per hour.
