Bottega Veneta RTW Production Manager in Trissino, Italy — lead ready‑to‑wear production planning, supplier coordination and quality control for the maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure execution of production plans (campaign orders, reorders and press orders), prioritizing material pick‑up schedules and monitoring the progress of assigned production orders.
- Following alignment with the RTW Planning team, verify launch feasibility with suppliers and ensure complete transmission of specifications, technical documentation and production packets to start manufacturing.
- Monitor and share suppliers’ workload with Planning; propose adjustments to production allocations consistent with agreed delivery cadence, merchandising plans, cost targets and required quality standards.
- Supervise production progress and adherence to warehouse delivery schedules; collect and update finished‑garment delivery dates through supplier visits and coordination of involved stakeholders.
- Prepare, validate and distribute the Delivery Flow to Senior Management and Merchandising teams.
- Plan and schedule quality control inspections on finished garments and semi‑finished items according to expected receipt forecasts.
- Support shipping coordination to align material dispatches with receipt of finished goods.
- Identify, manage and escalate major production anomalies (defective garments, late deliveries beyond the Delivery Flow window, cancellations and non‑conformities).
- Administer chargebacks and commercial adjustments relating to delivery delays, cancellations, missing materials and other supplier anomalies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in a production management role within apparel manufacturing.
- Proven technical knowledge of luxury apparel construction and quality standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills, decisive problem‑solving ability and a team‑oriented approach.
- Good command of English to communicate with international teams and suppliers.
- High availability, flexibility of hours and a dynamic, hands‑on attitude.
- Willingness to undertake frequent travel within Italy to suppliers and to the HQ in Milan.
Skills
Experience
5–7 years in production management within the apparel/clothing manufacturing sector, preferably for luxury or high‑end brands, with direct exposure to supplier coordination, production planning and quality control.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Textile or Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent professional experience in apparel production.
