Role & Responsibilities
- Manage industrialization and quality-control activities for ready-to-wear (RTW) items in the leather and denim categories.
- Attend and contribute to product normalization fittings for finished RTW leather and denim garments.
- Standardize production techniques and material specifications for leather and denim to ensure brand-quality standards, liaising continuously with suppliers and external laboratories.
- Collaborate with Product Development to define production masters for leather and denim items, in coordination with the raw-materials quality-control office.
- Oversee pre-production sample (PPS) approvals for leather and denim garments together with Product Development.
- Coordinate with production-progress teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to production timelines and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years' experience in a comparable role within apparel and leather manufacturing industries.
- Technical knowledge of luxury apparel and leather product construction, materials and finishing processes.
- Proven experience in product industrialization and quality control for RTW leather and denim.
- Strong interpersonal skills, proven problem-solving ability and aptitude for cross-functional teamwork.
- Good command of English.
- High flexibility regarding working hours and strong dynamism.
- Willingness to undertake frequent domestic and international travel.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 7–10 years in product engineering, quality or industrialization roles within apparel and leather manufacturing, ideally within the luxury or premium segments; experience managing suppliers and external testing laboratories and working across cross-functional development and production teams.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, Fashion Technology, Fashion Design (technical), or equivalent professional experience.
