Bottega Veneta seeks a Retail Performance Manager to lead retail performance analysis, forecasting, goal-setting, CRM initiatives, and strategic planning across the Americas, while managing a Senior Retail Business Analyst. The role is based in New York and offers an annual base salary of $100,000–$130,000 plus a discretionary bonus.
Role & Responsibilities
- Use specialized knowledge of global luxury retail to support, analyze, and drive retail performance across the Americas, achieve brand objectives, and build data-led strategic action plans.
- Develop and coordinate 360° go-to-market strategies for internal leadership and retail audiences; coordinate cross-functional presentations for business reviews, new store openings and network development, and annual budget reviews for executives.
- Research competitive performance and best practices to monitor market share and identify opportunities; implement plans to achieve sales targets.
- Partner with regional retail leadership on weekly business forecasting and hindsight reviews, and with Finance on semiannual sales and network forecasts.
- Analyze current performance trends against strategy, revise in-season sales and profitability plans based on results, and create action plans as needed.
- Partner with Merchandising, Finance, and HR on inventory-control policies and procedures, including transfers, stock movements, and distant sales.
- Analyze sales data and report on key performance indicators by associate, store, and region; implement and maintain projects related to store sales and sales performance management.
- Use analytics and financial information to identify business opportunities, improve processes through advanced analytics, and connect opportunities to broader strategic initiatives.
- Own retail goal-setting and tracking for the zone; partner with HR on monthly commission and bonus calculations; develop retail incentives as needed to boost business.
- Use and develop in-house technology programs and processes to deliver data-driven analysis supporting top- and bottom-line targets.
- Work with local CRM teams to design, analyze, and implement company-specific CRM programs and projects across the Americas; partner with worldwide and local CRM teams on analytics initiatives tailored to local operational needs and resources.
- Collaborate with Merchandising to identify growth opportunities and business challenges during planning, ensure plans meet company objectives, and partner on seasonal product-related KPIs and goals.
- Manage and develop a Senior Retail Business Analyst.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Management, Marketing, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of previous work experience in luxury retail management.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and strong knowledge of retail math; proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to work as part of a team and coordinate with stakeholders across the organization.
- Organizational awareness and flexibility.
- Ability to maintain urgency in a fast-paced environment while effectively prioritizing multiple projects.
