Role & Responsibilities

• Manage and control hard and soft services across the EMEA retail network, including technical equipment maintenance, cleaning and gardening services.
• Plan and execute planned and extraordinary maintenance programmes for facilities and store equipment; supervise scheduling and handover.
• Control and update service agreements for maintenance activities in collaboration with Legal; monitor supplier performance and compliance.
• Lead tendering processes and contractor selection to secure best-in-class vendors; manage procurement, purchase orders and supplier relationships for services, materials and equipment.
• Coordinate and oversee architectural, construction and millwork activities for extraordinary interventions, including project management and cost-plan reporting.
• Conduct periodic site inspections at stores to verify standards, confirm execution of planned works and identify corrective actions.
• Coordinate store openings and closures: perform site surveys, select contractors, run tenders, manage construction and ensure smooth handover to Retail Operations.
• Act as primary point of contact for store teams on facilities matters and liaise with Retail Operations, Finance, Sales and other corporate functions to resolve network issues.
• Collaborate with Group EMEAI Store IT to facilitate infrastructure and network equipment resolution and support integration of new technologies.
• Work with Health & Safety to ensure local regulatory compliance and organise rectification actions and technical support.
• Proactively propose operational improvements and smart technical solutions in alignment with the Facilities Manager and Group Facilities shared services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• 3–4 years' experience in a similar facilities/maintenance role within a retail environment.
• Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken; additional languages (French, German or Spanish) are a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent scheduling, problem-solving and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrable experience preparing and controlling service contracts, tenders and supplier performance.

Minimum of three to four years in a comparable facilities, construction or maintenance role supporting retail stores, with hands-on responsibility for contractor management, project delivery and store technical operations across a multi-country network.

Education

Degree in Architecture or Engineering.
