Bottega Veneta seeks a RTW Production Specialist in Trissino, Italy — manage apparel production planning, supplier coordination and delivery for knitwear, denim and leather.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collect, transmit and monitor product-management activities for knitwear, denim and leather ranges, coordinating with the Product Team and following up with external manufacturers after pre-order meetings.
- Prepare and maintain the Tentative Delivery Flow in collaboration with the Planning Manager to ensure adherence to launch and production timelines.
- Create and update timing schedules for Technical, Pattern-Making and Industrialisation teams, including projected launch dates, PPS (pre-production sample) priorities and technical data release.
- Define, communicate and monitor Production Plans and their progress, balancing launch priorities, material arrival, manufacturing capacity and established cost targets (including press production).
- Produce and update internal reporting to track production and press launches, generating specific analytical reports as required.
- Manage the production schedule through issuance of pick lists for component shipment to external workshops, ensuring on-time production starts for both press orders and regular collections.
- Interface with external laboratories to monitor finished-goods delivery progress and supervise intermediate processing stages to guarantee delivery schedules are met.
- Escalate component shortages to Purchasing and follow-up to enable production start.
- Support packers with component information and provide technical assistance to resolve finishing and assembly issues.
- Manage component replenishments, production overages, defective garments, barcode printing and any order data amendments.
- Oversee Special Production requests from feasibility assessment, technical data finalisation and order approval through quality control activation and delivery-plan sharing.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years' proven experience in production management within luxury apparel or fashion brands.
- Proven experience managing production for multiple product categories (knitwear, denim, leather).
- Proficiency with ERP/management systems (experience with Stealth preferred), PLM platforms, planning tools and Microsoft Office.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Excellent coordination, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail and organisational rigor.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a dynamic business environment.
- Willingness to undertake frequent travel within Italy to suppliers and to the Milan HQ.

Experience
Minimum 5–7 years in production or operations roles within luxury apparel, with hands-on responsibility for planning, supplier coordination and launch management across knitwear, denim and leather categories.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
