Bottega Veneta seeks Raw Materials Procurement Support in Montebello Vicentino, Italy. Support materials planning, supplier coordination, and procurement analytics for luxury leather goods.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze material requirements through MRP monitoring and detailed forecasting analysis to ensure optimal inventory levels
- Coordinate with internal demand planning, merchandising, and production planning functions to align procurement objectives
- Collaborate with planning teams to meet finished product delivery targets and production schedules
- Translate demand management and production planning inputs into actionable procurement objectives and priorities
- Monitor, analyze, and prevent material obsolescence in collaboration with the Finance department
- Interface with materials research, quality testing, intermediate processing, and quality control departments to ensure information sharing and cross-functional alignment
- Coordinate quality control planning activities in dialogue with the Quality department
- Perform quantitative analyses and develop reports in support of the Procurement Manager
- Contribute to development and monitoring of IT tools supporting procurement functions in collaboration with IT and Business Intelligence teams
- Participate in and lead continuous improvement projects and process optimization initiatives
- Manage raw materials orders, work orders, and supplier scheduling to ensure timely delivery
- Follow up with suppliers and coordinate delivery schedules to maintain procurement reliability
Qualifications
- Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or Statistics
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong quantitative skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Good English language proficiency
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative team orientation
- Availability for supplier visits and business travel
Skills
Experience
2–3 years of experience in functional roles supporting planning, procurement, or demand planning operations, ideally within materials management or supply chain contexts.
Education
Degree in Management Engineering (Ingegneria Gestionale), Economics (Scienze Economiche), or Statistics (Statistiche).
Workplace
This position is based in Montebello Vicentino, Veneto, Italy, within easy reach of Vicenza.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 24,000 per annum.
