Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy of merchandise and supply deliveries, verifying quantities against documentation for all shipments.
  • Support management and sales staff with prompt and accurate stock checks and delivery to the sales floor.
  • Maintain stock room standards by organizing merchandise by style, color, and size as directed.
  • Execute routine cycle counts and report any inventory discrepancies to management.
  • Maintain an organized shipping area, ensuring all outgoing merchandise is properly packaged and logged.
  • Maximize stock space for efficient merchandise access and store functionality.
  • Communicate timely with management and sales team regarding new arrivals, product replenishment, and client returns.
  • Re-stock packaging supplies within the boutique.
  • Assist in training new hires on shipping and receiving policies and procedures.
  • Complete tasks and projects as assigned by Store Management.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in a complex retail stock room preferred.
  • Experience with international/domestic freight companies is advantageous.

Skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, professional, and polished team player. High level of accountability and reliability, open to feedback. Basic computer skills, with Excel experience preferred. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift packages up to 20 lbs.

Experience

1-2 years of experience preferred in a retail stock room, with familiarity in handling international/domestic freight companies being a plus.
