Bottega Veneta Merchandising Intern in Shanghai (Hang Lung Plaza): support merchandising analysis, market research and sample coordination for China offline stores.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare regular sales reports and dashboards to support decision-making for China's offline network (full-price and outlet stores).
- Perform business and sales analysis to identify trends, sell-through, and inventory opportunities across stores.
- Conduct competitor and market research including competitor activity tracking, customer behaviour flow analysis and fashion trend monitoring.
- Coordinate sample handling and inventory: receive and unpack samples, perform stock takes and maintain sample records.
- Support merchandising and planning activities for in-store events and brand projects, including sample arrangement and logistics.
- Execute ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Merchandising/Planning Manager to maximize offline sales potential.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Economics, Retail Management or a closely related discipline.
- Strong analytical aptitude with an interest in retail metrics, assortment performance and inventory dynamics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to create and interpret pivot tables, basic formulas and charts.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and sample flows.
- Effective communicator and collaborator, comfortable liaising with cross-functional teams and store colleagues.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn; prior internship experience in retail or merchandising is a plus.

Internship-level role; currently enrolled students or recent graduates. Prior retail or merchandising internship experience preferred but not required.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Business, Economics, Retail Management or a related field.
