Bottega Veneta seeks a Legal Specialist (fixed term) in Milan, Italy — privacy & compliance support for the Global Legal Team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day legal support on privacy and compliance matters for the Global Legal Team, delivering practical, business-focused advice.
- Support internal approval workflows and contribute legal and compliance assessments of new business initiatives and projects.
- Assist with the review and negotiation of commercial agreements, with particular attention to privacy, compliance and regulatory clauses.
- Review and prepare data processing agreements and other data protection documentation.
- Conduct third-party due diligence and related compliance assessments.
- Support responses to data subject access requests and communications with supervisory authorities.
- Draft, review and update internal policies, procedures, guidelines and compliance documentation.
- Carry out legal and regulatory research, monitor developments in privacy and compliance law, and prepare internal reports and guidance.
- Contribute to training and awareness initiatives on privacy and compliance topics.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across functions and liaise with external counsel on projects with privacy and compliance implications.
Qualifications
- Law degree; specialization or coursework in privacy and compliance is a plus.
- Previous experience (1–2 years) in a similar legal, privacy or compliance role is desirable.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
- High ethical standards, discretion and professional integrity.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, proactive and dynamic.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Experience
1–2 years' experience in a comparable legal, privacy or compliance role preferred; relevant internships or exposure to in-house legal teams will be considered an asset.
Education
Law degree; focus on privacy/data protection or compliance is advantageous.
