Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements on a global scale, including image rights agreements, production and music agreements, co-branding and licensing partnerships, and sponsorship and ambassadorship contracts
- Lead end-to-end management of complex projects, including high-visibility fashion shows and cultural initiatives
- Provide strategic legal advice to Marketing, PR, Licensing, and Creative teams, balancing legal risks with business enablement
- Conduct intellectual property assessments and clearances to ensure all necessary rights are secured on a worldwide basis
- Manage projects autonomously, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely execution
- Identify and mitigate legal and reputational risks associated with high-visibility campaigns and international projects
Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Italy
- Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial law and intellectual property in law firms and/or in-house legal departments
- Fluent in Italian and English with excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage complex matters independently and interact confidently with senior stakeholders
- Business acumen and pragmatic mindset capable of providing clear, actionable legal advice
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Skills
Experience
Minimum 7 years of professional legal experience in commercial law and intellectual property, gained across law firms and/or in-house legal departments within the luxury, creative, or marketing sectors.
Education
Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Italy with a law degree or equivalent qualification.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.
