Bottega Veneta Inventory Control Manager in New York—oversee stock accuracy across Americas retail network, report to CFO. $100K–$110K annual base.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory control procedures across stores and sales channels, ensuring accurate records and compliance with internal policies
- Monitor and reconcile stock movements including receipts, transfers, returns, repairs and adjustments; investigate discrepancies and drive resolution with stores and logistics partners
- Work closely with Store Leaders and operations teams to address inventory issues and strengthen day-to-day stock practices
- Plan and coordinate physical inventories and cycle counts; analyze results, identify variances and implement corrective actions
- Partner with Finance on month-end inventory close, reconciliations, sales and margin analysis, and accurate recording of inventory adjustments
- Collaborate with Planning teams to provide stock visibility and support informed allocation and replenishment decisions
- Track goods in transit and resolve delayed or unmatched receipts and transfers with distribution and logistics teams
- Develop reports and key performance indicators on inventory accuracy, shrinkage, variances and goods in transit; share actionable insights with stakeholders
- Support inventory-related audits and investigations with clear documentation and cross-functional partnerships
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, controls and workflows; establish best practices across the network
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory control, retail operations, or related field
- Strong understanding of stock movements, physical inventory processes, reconciliations and retail controls
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience with inventory or ERP systems; SAP and business intelligence tools preferred
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with sound judgment
- Proven ability to identify root causes and resolve issues
- Effective communicator who builds productive relationships with stores and cross-functional partners
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in inventory control, retail operations, or a closely related field. Experience in luxury retail is strongly preferred. Proven expertise in managing stock movements, executing physical inventory processes, performing reconciliations, and implementing retail controls across multi-store networks.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent professional experience in inventory management and retail operations.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 110,000 per annum.
