Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the style team and relevant internal offices to manage prototyping and sampling phases for handbags and luggage across regular collections and special projects.
  • Monitor product development timelines and compliance by participating in sample review (disfettamento) meetings with appointed stakeholders.
  • Create and enter product codifications in systems; compile and maintain product documentation including product sheets, collection plans, measurement summaries, colour cards and sample photography.
  • Draft English-language texts and materials for training manuals and internal/external presentations.
  • Produce graphic and photographic presentations of products in development for internal archives, legal registration and end-of-season reviews.
  • Prepare pick lists, products and materials for internal development meetings and sessions with the creative director, and coordinate related shipments.
  • Manage archiving, cataloguing and inventory activities for the historic archive and current sample library.
  • Conduct research at trade fairs and retail locations and perform competitive analysis to inform development.

Qualifications

  • Degree in fashion design, architecture or equivalent qualification with a focus on product development.
  • 3–5 years' experience in leather goods and accessories product development.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong command of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with Stealth and other PLM/ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
  • High attention to detail, flexibility and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, problem‑solving aptitude and availability for travel domestically and internationally.
