Bottega Veneta (Kering) seeks a Global Architecture Senior Designer in Milan to lead conceptual retail architecture, material R&D and flagship projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead creative development of global architecture projects including flagship boutiques, department store concessions and residential retail concepts, translating brand vision into immersive spatial narratives.
- Develop conceptual layouts, spatial studies, mood boards, material research and high-impact creative presentations to communicate and evolve the architectural language.
- Drive integration of new product categories, customer experiences and launches into the retail environment, ensuring coherence with brand identity.
- Collaborate with R&D to research and develop novel finishes, furniture systems, architectural details and supervise prototypes, mockups and samples to secure craftsmanship quality.
- Oversee 3D model development and coordinate with internal design teams to safeguard design integrity across all project phases.
- Partner with Store Planning, Visual Merchandising and cross‑functional stakeholders to balance creative ambition with operational requirements and regional business needs.
- Participate in regional reviews and coordinate with project development teams to ensure consistency and excellence across worldwide implementations.
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum seven years' experience in architecture and retail design roles within luxury brands or high‑end creative environments.
- Proven track record in conceptual design for retail and spatial experiences, with strong examples of flagship or large‑format projects.
- Exceptional sensitivity to art, materials, textures and craftsmanship and demonstrable experience in material research and prototyping.
- Advanced visual communication skills, including hand sketching, drawing, mockups and high‑level presentation development.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary and international teams and the ability to lead creative development across stakeholders.

Seven or more years of progressive experience in architecture or interior design focused on luxury retail, with demonstrable leadership on flagship or high‑profile spatial projects and experience collaborating with international multidisciplinary teams.
Education
Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent professional qualification.
