Bottega Veneta is seeking a Footwear Production Planning and Logistics Manager for its Shoes Operations team at its atelier in Vigonza. The role oversees internal and subcontractor production capacity, reporting, production flows and warehouse logistics, and requires 3–5 years of luxury footwear manufacturing experience. The initial indicative remuneration is €45,000, with an annual variable bonus under the applicable company collective agreement; the national leather and related manufacturing industries collective agreement applies.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assess internal and subcontractor production capacity, continuously monitor capacity utilization across internal departments, and track production progress by phase and minute load.
- Contribute to IT development of systems for tracking progress and efficiency in internal departments.
- Manage internal production reporting and analysis.
- Coordinate production progress activities with the planning manager in the supply chain office.
- Liaise regularly with external partners and colleagues to manage and resolve production issues while meeting quality requirements and delivery timelines.
- Manage the warehouse and vertical storage systems by defining the WMS, ensuring materials are shipped to external production suppliers.
- Support the definition and implementation of internal production flows through continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role in luxury footwear manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of the footwear production cycle and shoe-making stages.
- Good knowledge of business information systems, including Stealth, SAP/PLM and Microsoft Office.
- English is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Dynamic, determined and proactive approach.
- Availability to travel within Italy and internationally.
