Bottega Veneta Finance Manager in New York — lead FP&A, month-end close and consolidation for the U.S. entity.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead Financial Planning & Analysis for the U.S. entity, producing budgets, rolling forecasts and monthly reporting for consolidation with the group consolidation team in Italy.
- Prepare and validate monthly closings, perform GL reconciliations and deliver detailed P&L, balance sheet and cash flow analyses including capex disclosures.
- Produce sales and gross margin analyses and ad hoc financial analyses to support commercial and executive decision-making.
- Review and prepare accounting entries, provide technical guidance to finance staff and ensure compliance with group accounting policies.
- Drive process improvements and efficiency gains across financial reporting and consolidation workflows.
- Learn and operate multiple financial systems to ensure accurate reporting and consolidation (see tools listed below).
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.
- Practical knowledge of retail accounting and auditing practices, ideally within the luxury or fashion sector.
- Proven capability in month-end close, GL reconciliation and preparation of consolidated reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present analysis clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, matrixed international environment.

Experience
Demonstrated experience performing FP&A and month‑end close activities within a retail or luxury goods environment, including preparation of consolidated reports for group-level consolidation teams. Experience supporting sales and gross margin analysis and guiding accounting entries and reconciliations is required. Prior exposure to auditing processes is preferred.
