Bottega Veneta in Milan seeks an EMEA Merchandising Analyst Intern (curricular) to support merchandising analysis, sales planning and buying activities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process, cleanse and analyse EMEA merchandising data; monitor core KPIs such as ST% and Weeks of Coverage and produce ad hoc reports.
- Perform weekly and monthly sales analysis and recommend commercial actions to improve growth and stock efficiency across Retail and Outlet channels.
- Prepare clear, data-driven presentations and documentation for cross‑functional stakeholders including Buying, Sales and Planning teams.
- Monitor product delivery flows, flagging exceptions and coordinating corrective actions with supply chain and commercial partners.
- Support sales planning, budgeting activities and forecasting processes for the EMEA region.
- Assist the EMEA Merchandising team during buying cycles, contributing to assortment and allocation exercises.
Qualifications
- Enrolment in an Italian bachelor’s, master’s or post‑graduate programme and eligibility for a curricular internship of at least six months.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical mindset with demonstrable problem‑solving and numerical aptitude.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Previous exposure to merchandising planning, financial control/planning, business development or analyst roles is a plus.

Previous internship or entry‑level experience in merchandising planning, financial planning/control, business analysis or related commercial functions is desirable but not mandatory.
Education
Currently enrolled in an Italian bachelor's, master's or other post‑graduate programme and eligible to undertake a curricular internship for a minimum of six months.
