EMEA Financial Controller at Bottega Veneta in Milano. Support regional financial controlling and reporting activities with 3–4 years of experience. Starting salary €35,000.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support EMEA controlling and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial information across the region
- Assist in preparation and analysis of monthly management reporting and business performance reviews
- Collaborate with local finance teams, the Financial Shared Service Centre and Corporate Functions to ensure timely and accurate financial information
- Support the monthly closing process and preparation of management reporting packages
- Prepare monthly profit and loss analyses, highlighting variances versus budget, forecast and prior year
- Assist in preparation of budgets, forecasts and long-term planning exercises in line with Group guidelines
- Consolidate financial information received from countries and departments and ensure data consistency
- Monitor operating expenses and support budget owners in understanding performance and cost trends
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial analyses to support business decision-making
- Support internal and external audit requests and assist with statutory reporting requirements
- Contribute to process improvements, reporting automation and standardization initiatives across the region
Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience in controlling team or audit firm
- Previous experience in retail controlling for fashion brands highly valued
- Degree in Business Administration, Management or similar discipline
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite
- Advanced knowledge of SAP and Hyperion systems (preferred)
- Full fluency in English (reading, spoken, written)
- Proficiency in French (advantageous)

Experience
3–4 years of experience in a controlling team or audit firm, with a preference for prior exposure to retail controlling within the fashion and luxury goods sector.
Education
Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 35,000 per annum.
