Bottega Veneta seeks an RTW Department Manager in New York to lead sales, manage teams, and drive luxury retail excellence in SoHo.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee RTW department performance, customer service standards, and brand image within the store
- Drive sales leadership and actively contribute to achieving and exceeding sales targets for both the department and store
- Build lifetime client loyalty through accurate record-keeping and implementation of strategic client management practices
- Mentor and develop sales team members, fostering competency advancement and driving departmental sales growth
- Collaborate with Store Director on recruitment, training, and professional development of RTW staff
- Ensure adherence to Bottega Veneta's operational procedures and brand standards in partnership with back-office teams
- Deliver exceptional customer service and professional relationship management aligned with brand values
- Execute operational duties including department opening/closing, inventory management, and back-office administration
- Strengthen RTW business by integrating complementary footwear into curated full-look styling and driving cross-selling opportunities across sales teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in the luxury retail sector
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage sales teams effectively
- Strong product knowledge of ready-to-wear collections and styling expertise
- Refined aesthetic understanding of silhouettes and full-look coordination
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Brand ambassador mindset with adaptability and strong organizational ability
- Fluency in multiple languages is advantageous

Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive managerial experience within the luxury retail sector, demonstrating a strong track record of sales target achievement, team leadership, and client engagement in a fast-paced environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; postsecondary education in business, fashion merchandising, or related discipline is preferred.
