Role & Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and KPI targets through proactive client outreach, appointments and consignments.
- Apply the Bottega Veneta Client Journey and consultative selling techniques (cross-selling, multiple selling, upselling) to maximise transaction value.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships; accurately update and manage client profile records.
- Sustain deep product knowledge (technical details and storytelling) across current collections via company training resources.
- Support basic store opening and closing procedures, perform cycle counts and light maintenance tasks as required.
- Maintain visual standards including merchandise presentation, signage and lighting.
- Adhere to company policies and contribute to an inclusive workplace where colleagues are treated with respect and dignity.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years retail sales experience in a customer-facing role; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals and KPIs.
- Demonstrated ability to build and retain a loyal client following.
- Genuine interest in fashion and awareness of industry trends.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; polished, well-groomed professional presentation.
- Available to work closing shifts (minimum three times per week), at least three Saturdays per month, two Sundays per month, annual inventory and full holiday season.
- Capable of standing and moving on the sales floor for extended periods; able to climb a ladder and regularly lift packages of 5–8 lbs.
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of retail sales experience in a customer-service environment, preferably within a luxury brand. Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets, cultivating repeat clients and executing high standards of store presentation.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in fashion, retail or business preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in San Jose, California, USA.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21 to USD 23 per hour.
