Bottega Veneta seeks a Client Advisor in Guangzhou, China — represent the maison, advise clients and drive sales in a luxury boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent the maison on the sales floor by delivering personalised, consultative service throughout the customer journey.
- Advise clients on product attributes, styling and trends while presenting collections according to brand visual and service standards.
- Proactively develop and maintain client relationships through follow-up, clienteling and after-sales care to drive repeat business.
- Achieve and contribute to individual and store sales targets through effective merchandising, upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- Maintain boutique standards including inventory accuracy, stock replenishment, floor presentation and housekeeping.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and ensure accuracy of transactions, refunds and customer records in accordance with company policy.
- Adhere to brand values, loss-prevention procedures and company retail policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven customer-facing experience in luxury retail or premium brand environments, demonstrating a strong sales orientation.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished and professional demeanour appropriate to a luxury boutique.
- Understanding of fashion product categories, materials and construction, with the ability to present product narratives convincingly.
- Commercial mindset with demonstrable ability to meet targets and convert client interactions into sales.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of visual presentation and store upkeep.
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of retail or luxury sales experience preferred; prior boutique or brand experience is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary qualification in fashion, retail or business is desirable but not mandatory.

This position is based in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China.
