Bottega Veneta Assistant Store Manager in Rome—lead team excellence and luxury client experience for Italy's premier fashion house.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and inspire a dedicated team of Client Advisors to deliver exceptional business performance and client-centric service
- Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and performance conversations to ensure team motivation, development, and adherence to company standards
- Assume full responsibility for store management in the absence of the Store Director
- Promote a positive team environment built on trust, integrity, and superior performance, ensuring consistency in client experience
- Lead from the shop floor, actively selling and role-modeling Bottega Veneta's luxury service ceremony
- Develop and execute clienteling activities and leverage clienteling tools to activate, retain, and grow client bases
- Manage customer flow on the shop floor to ensure no client is left unattended and exceptional service is delivered
- Manage and resolve customer issues with a focus on client retention and satisfaction
- Partner with the Store Manager and merchandising teams to provide feedback on product, stock, and category performance
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to maximize collection potential while maintaining brand image and guidelines
- Ensure full compliance with company procedures, policies, inventory control, and Health & Safety requirements
- Execute and monitor loss prevention actions to protect store assets
- Continuously review store processes to optimize the customer journey from welcome through payment and wrapping
- Maintain a luxurious store environment with impeccable displays, cleanliness, furniture maintenance, and staff grooming standards
- Participate in attracting, recruiting, and onboarding high-performing team members
- Conduct Store Morning Briefings to communicate key business objectives and daily priorities
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of retail or luxury retail store management experience, or relevant client-facing experience such as hospitality
- Strong understanding of client development, high-end customer service, and luxury retail standards
- Demonstrated analytical and numerical aptitude with the ability to interpret performance data and identify growth opportunities
- Proven capability to develop and execute action plans to improve store performance and customer experience
- Proven track record of supporting, inspiring, coaching, and motivating retail teams
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with a strong results orientation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative and positive mindset
- Brand ambassador who authentically embodies Bottega Veneta's values and visual image
- Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are advantageous

3–5 years of retail or luxury retail store management experience, or equivalent client-related experience in hospitality or high-end service environments.
Education

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 45,000 per annum.
