Bottega Veneta seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Chicago. Lead retail operations, drive sales, and mentor team members with competitive compensation and Kering career growth opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support overall store operations, business performance, customer service delivery, and brand image maintenance
  • Drive achievement of store sales targets and support individual associates in meeting personal sales goals
  • Maximize store business potential and departmental sales in alignment with company strategy
  • Mentor and coach retail associates to develop competencies, support growth, and drive individual and store-wide sales performance
  • Monitor and ensure quality and proper use of sales staff client books; work with sales team to develop action plans
  • Assist Store Manager with recruiting store associates and maintaining a candidate pool
  • Facilitate staff training sessions, new hire inductions, and ensure proper follow-up
  • Maintain and enforce Bottega Veneta standards and procedures across all operations
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients by upholding brand service values and managing customer relationships professionally
  • Perform operational functions including store openings and closings, register operations, and back-office management
  • Maintain a fair and respectful workplace environment for all associates

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of retail experience in a managerial role
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong organizational awareness and flexibility
  • Ability to adapt with strong product knowledge and understanding of brand philosophy
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
  • Availability to work closing shifts minimum 3 times per week, minimum 3 Saturdays per month, minimum 2 Sundays per month, annual inventory, and entire holiday season
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift packages weighing 5–8 lbs. regularly
