Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized makeup consultations and application services that educate and delight customers
• Create inspirational in-store experiences through makeovers and color-matching expertise
• Participate in in-store events and promotional activities to drive customer engagement and sales
• Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure the beauty counter stands out against competitors
• Operate retail point-of-sale systems and manage transactions accurately
• Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team to achieve sales and service targets
• Provide authentic, attentive customer service during retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events

Qualifications

• Demonstrated high level of creative and technical makeup expertise
• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Availability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
• Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software
• Right to live and work in New Zealand

Skills

Experience

While a formal qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience is preferred, candidates with demonstrated amateur-level expertise and a strong creative foundation are welcome to apply.

Education

Makeup artistry certification or equivalent professional qualification preferred; not required if candidate demonstrates equivalent creative and technical expertise.
