Role & Responsibilities
- Execute innovative product development and pipeline strategy aligned with brand strategic direction and informed by recruitment and loyalty drivers
- Own product marketing briefs from concept stage through execution or handoff, with oversight from the Director
- Serve as project manager for marketing stage gates and deliverables, consistently communicating key milestones to internal teams and cross-functional partners
- Develop deep understanding of new product launch (NPL) processes and workstreams beyond marketing, including packaging, supply chain, and creative/design
- Partner with Director on management of program financials, including cost of goods sold analysis from concept through approval and global forecasting coordination
- Present program strategies and marketing briefs to brand leadership, regional partners, and cross-functional teams
- Act as authoritative source for program information, ensuring accuracy and clarity in communications between global and regional levels
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships to advance initiatives on schedule and within budget
- Own marketing-driven business reporting and analytics, including monthly and quarterly collection and analysis of brand shipment, sell-through, and market/category data
- Collaborate with Global Product Marketing team on annual SKU rationalization and ongoing portfolio analysis to maintain productivity and profitability
- Compile and analyze market intelligence and competitive information, making recommendations to seize opportunities or adjust program elements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of related work experience; haircare industry experience preferred
- Self-starter capable of managing multiple concurrent projects
- Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through and multitasking abilities
- Demonstrates ownership of programs with both tactical execution and strategic big-picture perspective
- Excellent communication, analytical, creative, and computer skills
- Flexible and determined professional capable of handling diverse project demands
