Blancpain seeks a Movement Constructor in Le Sentier to assemble precision watch movements for luxury timepieces at the historic Vallée de Joux manufacture.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assemble and construct precision watch movements according to Blancpain specifications and quality standards
- Execute intricate horological assembly tasks using specialized tools and techniques
- Conduct quality inspections and adjustments of completed movements
- Maintain meticulous documentation of production processes and specifications
- Collaborate with other artisans and technicians within the manufacture to ensure production excellence
- Adhere to safety protocols and workshop standards
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in watch movement assembly and construction
- Proficiency with horological tools and measurement instruments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision craftsmanship
- Knowledge of mechanical watch movements and their components
Skills
Experience
Proven experience in watchmaking, horological manufacturing, or comparable precision mechanical assembly work within the luxury timepiece industry. Experience with haute horlogerie techniques or manufacture-level production environments is preferred.
Education
Formal training or apprenticeship in watchmaking, horological engineering, or equivalent technical discipline. Certification from a recognized watchmaking school or horological institute is desirable.
