Blancpain Deputy Store Manager position in Paris at Galeries Lafayette; lead luxury retail operations and sales team in a premium watchmaking boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Actively pursue sales and contribute to achievement of commercial targets for the boutique
- Apply commercial policy and authorize discounts in accordance with Store Manager directives
- Manage after-sales service, including customer follow-up, complaint resolution, and correspondence review
- Oversee off-premise sales and all piece releases from inventory
- Serve as operational relay and spokesperson for the Store Manager during absences
- Provide regular reporting on commercial and management activities to the Store Manager
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team on a daily basis
- Develop team member competencies and capabilities
- Ensure compliance with internal regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain managerial continuity in the absence of the Store Manager
- Maintain the boutique to the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, arrangement, and maintenance
- Ensure the retail environment reflects luxury brand standards
- Contribute to product presentation and brand image promotion
- Manage cash handling and payment processing operations (cash, cards, foreign currency, transfers)
- Supervise fund transfers and bank deposits
- Oversee administrative management and accounting tracking of the boutique
- Monitor and control tax-free processing, merchandise orders, goods receipt, consigned inventory, and consignment ledger maintenance
- Delegate tasks to team members while ensuring proper execution
Qualifications
- 3 to 7 years of experience in luxury goods retail
- Proven team leadership or senior associate experience
- Background in watchmaking, jewelry, or premium service-intensive retail
- Experience in a luxury department store environment (such as Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, or Harrods)
- Comfort working toward ambitious commercial targets and serving an international clientele
- Fluent English; additional languages valued

Experience
3 to 7 years in luxury product retail, with proven success in team leadership or a senior associate role. Experience in watchmaking, jewelry, or premium service environments is essential. Background in a major luxury department store is a significant asset.
