Blancpain seeks a CNC Machine Setter for its bracelet machining workshop in Delémont. The role covers machine setup from technical drawings and CAM programmes, production monitoring, quality control, colleague training and continuous improvement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set up production runs from technical drawings and programmes prepared by the CAM department.
- Prepare, inspect and adjust the assigned machine, and carry out machine setups.
- Launch and monitor production.
- Ensure dimensional and aesthetic quality criteria are met throughout production, using appropriate tools and following procedures.
- Report and summarise sources of inefficiency and actions taken to the supervisor.
- Support the integration and training of colleagues.
- Propose and implement actions to improve productivity, quality or the working environment.
Qualifications
- Training as a production mechanic or an equivalent qualification.
- Very good command of CNC machining, particularly 5-axis milling.
- Good knowledge of inspection and measurement instruments and technical drawing interpretation.
- At least 3 years of experience in the same role.
- Rigorous and conscientious approach, quality orientation and strong team spirit.
