Berluti seeks a Wholesale Business Analyst in Paris (8th) to drive distributor performance through analysis, reporting and Power BI dashboards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, produce and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual dashboards and KPI reports for the global wholesale network, including sales, stock analysis and cadence tracking.
- Prepare and present activity reviews and numeric summaries for Executive Committee and Wholesale senior management.
- Analyse distributor orders and sell‑through to set precise commercial targets by account and support sales campaign planning.
- Monitor budget realization continuously against order intake and historical trends; produce comprehensive sales reports (budget variance, category and account analysis, ASP evolution).
- Build revenue projections and P&L estimates per client for annual budgets and budget revisions; ensure forecasts align with departmental financial objectives.
- Identify optimisation levers (stock transfers, replenishments, commercial challenges) and propose operational action plans in coordination with account managers.
- Consolidate qualitative feedback from partners and perform ad hoc analyses to inform commercial decision‑making.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of analytical tools and reporting, with a focus on Power BI development and automation.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac +4/5) in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
- First successful professional experience in wholesale commercial analysis, financial controlling, retail performance or sales merchandising.
- Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables) and practical experience with Power BI.
- Strong analytical rigour, synthesis skills and attention to detail.
- Autonomous, proactive, commercially minded with good communication and client service orientation.
- Genuine interest in the luxury sector and artisanal savoir‑faire.
