Berluti seeks a Times & Methods and Continuous Improvement Engineer in Ferrara, Italy. €30,000 gross annual salary, hybrid role in luxury footwear manufacturing.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects based on Lean methodologies
  • Support development of digital tools for data analysis and KPI monitoring (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps)
  • Execute time studies and define standard production times
  • Prepare standard work instructions and operational guidelines for production departments
  • Define and input standard production cycles in SAP
  • Support management of master data, bills of material, and cycles in SAP
  • Collaborate on analysis and optimization of production layouts and workflows

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering (Management, Mechanical, Computer Science) or equivalent technical-scientific discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in similar roles (internship, junior position) in Time & Motion, Industrialization, or Continuous Improvement
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement tools
  • Basic competence in time and motion analysis
  • Solid knowledge of SAP (production cycles, master data, bills of material modules)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Power BI or Power Apps preferred
