Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive store business plans with emphasis on local market penetration, community integration, and promotional strategies to drive foot traffic and expand the customer base
• Monitor competitive landscape and luxury market trends; provide regular feedback to the Retail Manager on product assortment, purchasing trends, and customer preferences
• Lead sales team by setting and monitoring performance targets, motivating staff, recognizing top performers, and actively participating on the selling floor to model sales excellence
• Manage the clienteling function proactively to strengthen customer relationships and maximize lifetime value
• Oversee team recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and succession planning; ensure all staff maintain comprehensive product knowledge and understanding of Berluti's heritage and values
• Implement all human resources policies, procedures, and training programs including sales techniques, customer service standards, and operational protocols
• Develop staffing schedules aligned with traffic patterns and business needs; determine optimal team composition and coverage
• Manage store P&L with rigorous attention to controllable expenses, sales forecasts, and operating profitability
• Ensure consistent application of Berluti standards across merchandising, customer service, back-office operations, inventory management, and administrative functions
• Deliver monthly quantitative and qualitative business reports to the Retail Manager; track and achieve all KPIs

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 10 years of progressive store management experience within the luxury fashion industry
• Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese
• Demonstrated expertise in team management, motivation, and performance-driven leadership
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
