Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the Shanghai boutique and report to the Southeast China Regional Manager to achieve sales, profitability and service objectives.
- Develop and execute the store business plan including local marketing, events and community integration to grow traffic and expand the local client base.
- Manage the store P&L with rigorous control of controllable expenses, sales plans and operating profit; meet established KPI targets.
- Drive sales performance through active selling presence, motivation and continuous coaching of the sales team; recognise top performers.
- Oversee clienteling activities to cultivate long-term relationships and ensure exemplary customer service consistent with Berluti’s selling ceremony.
- Own recruitment, performance evaluation, training programmes and succession planning to maximise team potential.
- Ensure all operational standards—visual merchandising, stock management, back-office administration—are applied and maintained.
- Provide monthly quantitative and qualitative business reports to the Retail Manager and recommend assortment or merchandising adjustments based on local trends.
Qualifications
- University graduate (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
- Minimum five years’ store management experience in the luxury fashion sector, with proven P&L responsibility.
- Fluent in Mandarin and good command of English (written and spoken).
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities with demonstrated ability to motivate a boutique sales team.
- Excellent commercial acumen, analytical thinking and strategic orientation.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills; resilience under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Skills
Experience
At least five years of store management experience within the luxury fashion industry, including responsibility for sales targets, P&L and team leadership. Experience operating within the Chinese or broader APAC market and familiarity with luxury client expectations is highly desirable.
Education
University graduate (Bachelor's degree or equivalent).
