Role & Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming merchandise, reconcile deliveries with documentation and integrate items into the boutique’s physical stock.
• Maintain stock presentation and packaging: organise storage, relabel items and preserve merchantable condition.
• Prepare and condition end‑of‑collection items for return to the manufacture and coordinate quality-return shipments.
• Execute inter-store transfers and handle e-commerce related requests (transfers, validation of pickings, etc.).
• Pack, verify and dispatch customer shipments within scheduled timelines, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
• Participate in weekly cycle counts and quarterly inventories: prepare, scan, count, investigate discrepancies and report findings to management.
• Receive and store operational supplies and ordered items (packaging, care products, shoe trees) needed for boutique activity.
• Produce weekly activity reporting (number of pieces received, transfers completed, inventory variances).

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills with rigorous attention to detail.
• Ability to anticipate and identify stock-related issues and escalate appropriately.
• Reactive and able to prioritise under time constraints driven by retail operations.
• Reliable team player with clear communication and a customer‑service mindset.
• Physical capability to handle merchandise and shipments safely.

Skills

Experience

Entry-level (beginner). Suitable for candidates currently in an apprenticeship or vocational training programme; prior retail stock or logistics experience is advantageous but not required.

Education

Enrolled in a vocational or apprenticeship programme in logistics, retail management, supply chain or equivalent (Bac professionnel, BTS or comparable vocational training preferred).
