Berluti in New York seeks a Retail Excellence Assistant (internship) to support retail performance, operations, training and projects (May–Dec 2026).
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, produce and distribute weekly retail performance reports for all US stores; define and monitor KPIs to drive commercial outcomes and client experience improvements.
- Coordinate communications across the US retail network to promote alignment, collaboration and best-practice sharing between stores and headquarters.
- Provide day-to-day operational support to store teams on inventory, merchandising, client services and other retail processes.
- Assist in monitoring store P&L items, including travel and expense administration.
- Coordinate regional store projects (openings, relocations, closures) in partnership with Central Architecture & Logistics and Zone Merchandising teams.
- Design and implement tools to monitor rollout, adoption and effectiveness of retail training initiatives; track impact on sales and operations.
- Support regional strategic projects including omnichannel and e-commerce optimization, and act as primary liaison with central IT on project delivery and issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree (undergraduate and MBA/Master students eligible).
- Strong organizational skills, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to set and achieve demanding objectives.
- Analytical and strategic thinking with an aptitude for translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills; strong interpersonal capabilities to work with cross‑functional teams and store leadership.
- Proactive, agile and client-focused attitude; hands-on retail management experience is a plus.
- Fluent English; proficiency in French is an asset.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with PowerBI and PowerPoint is highly desirable.

Entry-level internship role suitable for current undergraduate or graduate students. Prior exposure to retail operations or store management is advantageous but not mandatory.
