Berluti seeks a Product Manager for Footwear in Paris to develop shoe collections and coordinate cross-functional teams in this luxury menswear role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the definition of product offerings by preparing marketing briefs for the design studio, including trend analysis, performance evaluation, and market opportunities
- Build collection catalogues and plans in close collaboration with the collection manager and design team
- Contribute to the definition of product names, materials, and colorways to strengthen collection storytelling and market coherence
- Establish liaison with Sales Merchandising to integrate market feedback and regional needs into collection strategy
- Conduct periodic competitive analyses, including monitoring competitor collections, pricing levels, and market positioning by season
- Formulate strategic recommendations based on competitive intelligence and market studies
- Optimize, update, and ensure reliability of marketing performance tracking tools and sell-through metrics
- Participate in collection reviews to provide recommendations for future collection development
- Monitor product development in collaboration with the studio and manufacturing facilities
- Follow technical refinement of designs with the Development and Industrial teams
- Contribute to production cost optimization in partnership with Development and Production departments
- Provide prototypes for various industrial and development requirements
- Support preparation of the Buying Session (Showroom) through marketing product presentations
- Manage product codification, track, and control the product reference database
- Develop retail pricing analysis, price mapping, and associated tracking files
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to prepare showroom installations
- Validate product photographs for e-commerce in coordination with the Communications team
- Prepare support documentation for retail trainers and boutiques
- Write product narratives and customer benefits for e-commerce and internal training platforms
Qualifications
- Prior experience in product merchandising, collection development, or coordination, preferably in fashion, luxury, or accessories
- Strong product sensibility and demonstrated interest in footwear design and development
- Solid analytical and synthesis capabilities with proficiency in data and numerical analysis
- Thorough understanding of the leather goods market, trends, and product categories
- Demonstrated proactivity, anticipation, and ability to identify risks and opportunities
- Exceptional organizational skills and priority management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with capacity to collaborate across diverse teams
